A to boost your speed

W to cancel your momentum. hold down an arrow key while pressing W to slingshot in that direction

D to shoot (your bullets aim automatically at enemies when in range)

the thing  in the bottom right is the compass, it points in the direction of enemies

the thing in the bottom left is the map. The yellow part shows which area you're in, the red parts show which areas have enemies in them. Blow up the enemies before they reach earth.

STORY

It is the far future.

A decade ago, humanity achieved it's long dream of contacting life beyond the stars, however said life was not nearly as enthusiastic to learn about our existence, immediately vowing to destroy our home planet and our species as a whole.  While unable to visit our solar system directly, our adversaries instead target us through a dangerous antimatter-projectile system, leading to barrages of deadly weaponry.

Fortunately for us,  their weapons system has one weakness: Due to it's orbit around the solar system, It's only able to direct it's weapons towards a localized quarter of earth's surface at a time.

Exploiting this weakness, the EARTH LOOP program was created, setting up automated turrets  to loop around the earth and neutralize any alien missiles that could pose a theat. However, both advancing alien technology and the effect of the harsh sun rays leading to frequent damage costs has led technology to become obsolete. As a result, earth's governments took to a different strategy to defend earth: genetic engineering

After many long years, you where created: a genetically engineered bioweapon created with the capacity to survive in space. Welded inside a metal container, and with the last of the turrets having finally been destroyed, it is now up to you to run the EARTH LOOP and save humanity from destruction.
